These are
the frequently asked questions to the "musiques aux vents" team
about the Musical Experience project and why they put so much
energy in organising it.
Why
do you want to organize this exchange ?
We
want to create a cultural and musical exchange between different
musicians from the enlarged Europe so that each one can discover
the other musics of Europe and make the other discover his own
music.
We will organize concerts in the aera to broaden the exchange
to the inhabitants of the region, so that the musicians can also
exchange with the local people. The CD will be
a remebering of this workcamp, a track of the exchange. It won't
be sold.
Is this
your first exchange ?
No,
for two years we've took part to similars camps in Slovenia.

Do you have any special themes, activities in mind ?
We
decided that each musician should choose 2 traditional dancing tunes
and 2 traditional laments from his/her country and represent his/her
tunes and music to the group. Different groups will be naturally formed
between the musicians, according to their sensibility. We will then
work these tunes together in sight of the concerts and of the recording
of a CD.
What
type of exchange do you wish ?
Multilateral.
There will be a maximum of two people from each country.
Which
language do you intend to use ?
English.
Any
additional information of importance to your partner ?
The
interested musicains should have an experience of the scene, playing
in concerts and/or recording in studio. They must bring their own instruments
